Louding Voice is Waterstones Fiction Book of the Month

I’m super delighted to say that the paperback edition of The Girl with the Louding Voice by Abi Daré  has been chosen as Waterstones Fiction Book of the Month for October. It is important to have diversity reflected in the books we read and so I’m proud to have been a part of designing the cover for this amazing book. Design is by @natalieyulichen. The stunning portrait illustration is by @kimberleykl_chen.

In the 07.04.17 issue of Evening Standard Magazine featuring actress Gemma Arterton, my cover design for The Lovers is picked as the top five books the ES team are reading right now!

Bookshop in January 2017

These new books are out and about in bookshops now.

The Lovers paperback with a new Afterword is available to purchase. It is really worth reading as it is an important book that talks about both human and women’s rights. Young lovers, Zakia and Ali have had to flee their homes as their marriage is forbidden by ethnic and religious differences in Afghanistan. This edition gives the latest update on their situation since the hardback was published last year.

And the first in the Frostblood trilogy is spotted in the bookshop amongst other YA books. It is weather appropriate for this month too.
